Major Projects
NOTE: These projects are all from when I was a student at RPI. For legal reasons, I can't exactly put links to the more recent stuff I've done, but at some point I will be able to. Stay tuned.
ANOTHER NOTE: This portfolio is currently, and probably always will be, undergoing changes and updates. The circuitry might be exposed in some places, but just bear with me. It may not ever be completely finished, because I'm always doing new things.
Here's a list of the projects I decided to shine the spotlight on. I've made plenty of other things, but these are the biggest ones I've decided to pursue beyond the bounds of academic obligation. If you want to know what I'm currently up to, you can check out my dev blog, which I've got a link to in the top-right.

The World of Plankton ProjectThe World of Plankton Project is an exploratory simulation of a freshwater ecosystem. Shift between different scales to examine aquatic organisms of varying sizes, and learn about the delicate balance of a world which is too small to see with the naked eye. The World of Plankton is slated to be part of a museum installation, but is currently a work in progress.

JBirdEngine: Programmer ToolkitA lot of times I find myself wanting to experiment more with Unity3D and really push the boundaries of what I can do with it. The result is usually another set of tools that I can use in future projects. Here are some of the tools I've made so far.

Coda: An Extension for Unity3DCoda is an extension for Unity3D that lets developers easily add audio-reactive elements to their games. It allows users to analyze a music track so that objects in the game can execute code on time with the beat.

Smaller Projects/Prototypes
Unfortunately, not everything can have the spotlight; however, without the stage crew or pit band, the overall stage performance would suffer. These projects are basically the supporting cast to my bigger achievements--each one taught me something valuable that I can apply to future projects.
Artistic Endeavors
This site focuses primarily on my programming talents, but I've been an artist much longer than I've been a programmer. Unfortunately I haven't focused on honing my art skills in a while for general lack of time, but I do have a few recent pieces from when I felt the urge to take to a pencil/stylus/ball of clay.
